DAVID KAMINSKY
PHOTOGRAPHY
David, a native of Miami, Florida, received an MFA degree in Photography at the University of Florida in 1974. After graduation he worked as staff photographer for the Historic Preservation Section, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, where he documented significant historic buildings in the state. He also worked as a photographer for the Department of the Interior, Historic American Building Survey and Historic American Engineering Survey. In 1980 he moved to Savannah, where he taught photography at the then recently formed Savannah College of Art and Design. In 1982 he started Savannah Color Separations, Inc. which provides high resolution digital photography and giclée printing for local and regional artists. Throughout his professional life he has also continued to develop and exhibit his personal photographic work.
