Teake Zuidema's Day of the Dead Arrives at Kobo

Photographer/anthropologist Teake Zuidema might have been born in the Netherlands and lives in Savannah, but part of his heart is always in his beloved Mexico.

"In the U.S., we often hear so much bad news about Mexico that I feel obliged to show how much beauty and magic there is in this country also,” says Zuidema.

In November 2022, he photographed the Dia de Muertos celebration in the southern city of Oaxaca. Three of the photos of this event are now for sale at KOBO, either separately or together in the above print titled Mexican Triptych.
