SUSANA GUERRERO
JEWELRY
Susana Guerrero is a Colombian jeweler, originally from Pasto, a city that sits high in the Andean mountains in southwest Colombia, alongside an active volcano. Growing up in this dynamic environment, alert to a volatile landscape, fed her imagination and interest in organic forms, and inspired her to study industrial design.
Early in her career, she took a silversmithing course where jewelry became her passion and obsession. This experience began a long journey of exploration into materials, forms, and techniques based on the search for a unique aesthetic, her own distinct, unmistakable mark.
Susana’s work focuses on the use of precious metals: gold, silver, platinum and mixing traditional with modern techniques to transform these metals into expressions of joy. Her jewelry embodies a celebration of life, to express and reflect emotion.
