The images I show at Kobo Gallery are excerpts of my editorial work, and images of a series entitled “Earth Talks – The Singles”.

“Earth Talks is an exploration of the hidden layers of plant life. It is an attempt to unveil that which is usually hidden from our human, bird’s eye view.

These images venture into the growing, flowering and decaying worlds that make up out natural environment.

The moment I set my camera on level ground, perspective and dynamics change. I become an observer to a stage on which plants are the main protagonists.

Story lines unfold as relationships are acted out, and I find myself captivated by a visceral synergy, an archetypal dialogue that has been held since the beginning o time.

All images are photographed on film, printed in an analog darkroom by myself, mounted onto wooden panels, and covered with wax medium.
